Tishelle Betterman's Professional Background:

Prior to entering real estate sales in 2003, Tishelle Betterman had built a strong framework of professional experience in customer-oriented services through management consulting, systems implementation, real estate consulting, and financing. Ms. Betterman has more than 20 years combined experience in accounting, procurement, software implementations, process and quality control analysis, project management, and end-user training with both private organizations and governmental institutions.

Tishelle worked specifically with companies such as PHAROS Corporation, Harbor Properties and Sound Transit on their real estate policies, processes, and systems. Pharos provides real estate acquisition, relocation and property management services; Harbor Properties both owns and manages residential, commercial and recreational properties; and the Sound Transit real estate division addresses acquisition, condemnation, and right of way issues. Ms. Betterman’s involvement with each of these firms provided experience in the real estate industry, but also with understanding the needs of both real estate companies and their clients.

Tishelle holds a B.A. in Cross-Cultural Studies, served 12 years as CFO on the Board of Directors for a local small business, and volunteered time as the head of Communications and Newsletter Committee on the Board of an international Non-Profit organization.

It is through her business background that Tishelle has developed her greatest strengths, including: a practical approach to critical thinking and problem solving skills; the ability to balance technology with personal relations; resourcefulness and an eye for detail; excellent teamwork, leadership and collaboration skills; and the integration of diverse needs and requirements.
